Los estudiantes Laura Mercado, Yomira Barrios, Iván Guerra, Miguel González,Jéssica Romero y Jhon Jairo Mercado, quienes hacen parte del grupo de investigación GINDES, participaron en el VIII Encuentro Departamental de Semilleros de Investigación- RedCOLSI - Nodo Sucre, realizado el pasado 21 y 22 de mayo de 2015. En este evento, dos grupos recibieron la aprobación de sus trabajos, y a uno le otorgaron el aval para su presentación a nivel nacional en el Encuentro de Semilleros de Investigación que se realizará en la ciudad de Cali. Felicitaciones a los estudiantes por el logro alcanzado.

This semillero gathering at the department level offers a unique opportunity for student researchers, where they are able to partake in my chemistry class for me, and provide collaboration, and share innovative ideas. It creates an atmosphere of innovation and scholarship, and demonstrates that even in the case where another student is taking the daunting prospect of reporting to “take my chemistry class for me” mentorship can still occur. Attendees present their most advanced future projects and rote-based review from their peers, while further developing their research skill sets.
